The Zonda slid around a bit too much in the rear for my taste. I'll take either car please.

I had a feeling that the bugatti was going to lose. On a track lower weight is key. For high spped rund the high hp and aero aids will give the win to the bugatti

Further proof that the Zonda is god's gift to man.

The Zonda was only slower than the CCX by .2 seconds which has more power and less weight. Pretty amazing if you ask me. The interior of the Zonda just farts on the Veyrons too. Luxury interior?

Result doesn't surprise me at all. Tight track, heavy Veyron, even with tons of power, isn't likely to beat a nimble, LIGHT but still very powerful Zonda F.

I wonder what the power to weight ratio of each is? Anyone just know what the weight of each is?

i just finished watching this episode and i totally forgot about those 2 cars at the end lol.

i honestly thought the veyron would have the fastest lap mainly because i thought its sheer power would make up for the turns.

god i love the zonda. cant wait to see the new pagani

Koenigsegg CCX = 806HP, 2601 pounds = 682HP/metric ton
Zonda = 594HP, 2712 pounds = 482HP/metric ton
Veyron = 987+HP, 4162 pounds = 522HP/metric ton

So the CCX barely beats the Zonda even though it has a 200HP/ton advantage and the Veyron is slower than the Zonda even though it has the power advantage. Hats off to Pagani.

id say in msot tracks the veyron wins, but not on this one.
I hate how they start the lap from a stop.

could be the transmission too? Maybe the Zonda's gear ratios are shorter so it can power out of corners better.. or maybe the Veyron's AWD is slow to react.
