I liked the 1st bangle 7 series, 5 series and the way the 3 series is now.

now the 7's gonna look lonely while the 5 and 3 look alike again (excluding the 1 and 6 series.)

Yes, the sides and rear end are an improvement over the present car, but this doesn't show us much up front.

I hope they've put some metal back in the doors. The doors on the current 5-series, while not flimsy per se, are notably thinnier/tinnier than the last-generation, pre-Bangle car. I also hope I-Drive is gone. And let's also see a return to the pre-Bangle, smooth/silky leather seats without the grainy, textured-vinyl-like feel of the current Dakota leather.

But keep that steering ............IMO, no other sedans on the road have the steering feel of the 3 and 5-series. They are marvelous.

It amazes me that after all these years BMW still failed to make a better looking car then the E39. Don't get me wrong, this looks very nice, but not as nice as the E39...
