Chris Doane snagged several shots of a 2010 Acura RDX during some routine testing. The RDX is expected to get its MMC in 2010, and as expected, it appears that the RDX will not be spared from the Power Plenum treatment. What else is in store for 2010? There are rumors floating around that Acura will introduce a lower priced FWD version of the RDX in the hopes of triggering some sales.

Another day, another news item about Honda/Acura that confirms they've lost the plot and have no focused philosophy when it comes to the industry right now.
Let me get this straight; they want to introduce a FWD version of the RDX in order to boost sales? This is after heavily marketing and promoting the RDX as having SH-AWD standard? So Acura is once again going to contradict what they have said or done .
Honda should have done this in the first place, and SH-AWD should have never been so heavily marketed and promoted if Honda wasn't serious about having it standard on all Acura vehicles. First we found out that SH-AWD would be optional, not standard on the new TL and now news of this. I predict that Honda will now make SH-AWD optional on all Acura models in the future; I also predict that will include even the "flagship" RL as well.
