Among these three I would vote for E55 AMG(W211 right?). It looks good and crazily fast. I would probably take GTI over R32 simply because of the excellent 2.0T engine and cheaper price. E39 M5 is good, but frankly it looks dated when parked next to a E60, but this is just my personal opinion. Anyways, good luck shopping for your next vehicle.

Hard to beat the DSG gearbox in the R32 for daily driving, although its steering isn't as crisp as some BMWs.
Yes, there was a well-publicized case of a new R32 having a wiring fire under the dash (pictures of it were posted here at CL), but that can happen with a number of German cars. BMW engines have caught fire from defective fan switches. Even non-German vehicles occasionally catch fire. I wouldn't let that stop me.
if it's the R32 watch it set itself on fire.

06 is250, lack of power, lack of tune ability, didnt like the center console and the cheep hard plastics it was made out of, hated the seats they have crease marks and look old and tired, didnt like the idea of not being able to put in a deck (pioneer avic d-3), no ski bag, humdrum looks even with the full gfx kit and 20" foose rims. The list is endless.
It's a fantastic car for a person thats wants a comfterable fuel sipping entry lux sedan)
Not as fun and as tune friendly as my old A4 and Cooper S.
