Default Street Tires + Rain + Autox = Fun

Took her autoxing a week ago and it was pretty fun. A few suspension mods will make her bad *** on the track. On my first run I left the traction control on and dam that was annoying...beep beep beep and the car would loose power momentarily. Not on this vid, but I had her sideways on one of my runs and almost lost it going into the timer!! A few people actually almost hit it that day. Floor was wet from rain.

Decided to paint the wheels black, so I need to find a good painter. I may get the brakes painted red.

This pic shows the stock wheels with semi gloss.

Why would you leave the traction control on at autox/track?

just to see how it responds....my vette doesnt react the same way when the traction control is on...each car reacts different...so why not on the first run.

pretty cool man. Do a set of sway bars and add some more neg camber to the front and a touch of toe in and I think you will shave some significant time and understeer. I loooove track driving, auto X, gymkhana, autosolo...what ever you call it its great fun and not as harmful to the engine as most think. Its pretty much the tires and the brakes. For autocross the speeds are much much lower than a typical track run so it really isnt that stressful to the car. Trust me bro, a set of thick swaybars, and a good alignment will get you to really move
