Which car would you buy if you had..
hello all,
my parents are looking for a new car right now
and for the first time, they are willing to lease
they are willing to pay 700~800 a month
and we are looking for 36~42 months to lease it
what are my (our) options with this budget?
I know down payment can play a big part on this leasing system
and I believe my parents are willing to pay up $3000~$5000 (but the less the better)
also, my parent's credit is excellent according to the credit report, so
we aren't too worried about credit score..
they are definitely looking for Sedan, but not the small ones like our IS
something luxury and reliable would be great!!
so please..I'd appreciate if you can recommend any models with the price
and where I can get them from
BTW, would it be better to lease a new car at the end of this Month
(for December to Remember deal)
or should we wait till next year?? when would be the best time to least it?
thanks in advance
and see you all at Dec 14 MEET

does it have to be lexus? for that price range, the gs, e, a6, and 5 will right in the ballpark. to me euros might be ok since it's a lease anyway, you have warranty. good thing with bmw is services are all included, that's a big plus

if not the 3gs, the bmw 5-series is also an equally good mid-level luxury sedan. it rides firmer than the 3gs, but it feels like a driver's car all-around. the jury is still out on iDrive, but after learning its nuances it's not as bad as some make it out.
iirc bmw has special lease/financing rates for the month of december. my mom just picked up a 2009 x5 3.0 from shelly bmw in buena park. my brother got his 535 from there, and he was the one that negotiated the deal for my mom.
i'd hit'em up, and then go down the street to house of imports to look at the e-class as well.

Since it's a lease, looking into 5 & 7 Series. Beside $0 cost for maintenance, BMW has few promotions that hard to refuse.

actually mb's lease deals are sometimes better than bmw these days, but keep in mind you pay for services.
in terms of space, if that's their concern, imho the e class has more interior space than the 5
