Just saw some pics tonight in the recently delivered car mags that I get. Its fugly. The old body style looked much nicer. The car now looks short and stubby

So I saw the new E class with basically no camouflaging on the freeway yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately my phone cam is TERRIBLE.

My first impressions of the vehicle were from behind, and I quite like it. It's low-slung, it's got a great stance, and it does look more compact than the current and outgoing generation model. The exhausts are well integrated into the bumper, a-la LS460, and in the general the hard body lines work well on the car. I'm not entirely sure what I make of the front just yet since the best view was from my rear view mirrors. I think from behind it could even pass for a 2-door design.

note: my phone cam DOES kind of flatten the photos.

Sorry, that rear end looks so blah
I can see they try to make the front end of the new E-class look more aggressive, yet they make the rear end so plain and bland, like they don't belong on the same car ...

Front- Very nice, like SICK said design is lil busy, alot going on.
Side- Caddy CTS.
Rear- Awful! It looks like they were not finished with the back end.& sent it out to production.

It will be another MB hit. Until BMW 5 series comes out.

Come on Lexus! You gotta step your game on the 4th gen. GS. Instead of being last.

I prefer the current body styling to this one. Sure it's getting a bit long in the tooth, but it's still very elegant.

i like it. that rear has the 'slender/low' profile like the 3 series coupe.

i think it will be another winner.
