The most confusing thing, perhaps, is Saab-Scania. As I understand it, it's the same company, but the chart shows Saab under GM and Scania under VW.

And the Chrysler-Mitsubishi status is also unclear. Chrysler is shown as the owner, but, supposedly, the two split a couple of years ago.

Still a nice post, though, Mike. Very interesting. The only thing is..........we don't know what that chart is going to look like after the bailouts.

I think the Scania issue is related to it being the Truck/engine business (not the cars).

What is the relationship between Toyota and Mini for diesels?

Additionally, I thought the Toyota/Porsche alliance for hybrids was an old rumor?

The Endeavor is far better built than the Jeep GC, though its boom-box center-dash is a little awkward-looking.
