Default Miley Cyrus' 16th Birthday present : a Porsche...


Miley says she didn't get the car she wanted for her 16th birthday. (She originally wanted a new Mercedes upholstered in pink.)

But she isn't sobbing.

"I do have a car. I took my mom's old car," she tells Extra. "I got the old car, which wasn't so bad because it was a Porsche ... It was a pretty good hand me down."

Cyrus has another reason to celebrate: She nabbed for Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for her Bolt tune "I Thought I'd Lost You."

"I got a text from four different people," she says of hearing the news. "I was like, 'Holy Moly!' It's good because people will take me a little more seriously."

don't her parents have control of her assests until shes 18? ...anyways for a kid to spend extravagantly is not a good habit to have... she might end up like many other rich teenager celebrities...

God this is girl is my age, and she gets that WHAT A ***** haha jk. Although lets just hope she doesn't wind up like another girl who got a porsche for her 16th birthday and ended up dying trying to overtake someone in a 911 turbo

IMO, she would be looking for trouble if she got the 911 turbo... inexperience driver + Rear Engine +RWD + a lot HP & Tq = DISASTER.

White. Pure white. Gorgeous. I've seen a few GTS tooling around in Brookline. Even one (ugly) Off-white-pearl Cayenne Turbo S.

She looks tacky in that picture. Overdone makeup...
