I am coming from an Rx300 AWD.
I know to avoid 2004-2005.5 models due to electrical issues and funky transmission logic. I want a 2006 but don't know what to love/hate about these SUVs.
If you know anything about them please post

You can try Club Touareg. Great website.

Just remember the Touareg is not your average SUV - It's essentially a Porsche Cayenne, with the quality (which is strangly better) and cost of ownership to back that up. It's also a very capable off-roader.
