I remeber seing the Venza at the LA auto show. I was impressed and pleased with it in every aspect of the interior, passenger space, and safety
Yes. Toyota, IMO, delayed too long in getting this vehicle to market. It should have been done several years ago....would have been good competition for Subaru. The only problem, now, is that the economy, and credit availability, is not good for car sales....if the Venza is not a sales success, as come posters here have predicted, that will probably be the main reason why.

Did you think, though, that the wheels were a little oversized...especially for a stock factory setup? I thought the stock 20" wheels were grossly large for a family-based crossover like this....they will make for some expensive tire-changes.

Nice, a more stylish Highlander (but that's not hard to do since the Highlander is so ugly).

20" wheels will enhance sales for this stylish and road-oriented SUV. Toyota did it right with large diameter 50 series tires (big sidewall) and adjusted final drive ratio accordingly.

I saw both at the San Jose autoshow last Saturday. Most likely both RX and Venza are derived from same basic chassis.

Zig-zag shifter! Lol. Great review, I saw a blue Venza at Office Max and it seems like a job well done for Toyota.

I wouldn't even say LOL. Depending on design and shift action, they range from annoying to a pain in the a**.

Yes....but, IMO, overdue.

Great review mmarshal! Saw one last night at the dealer and I was shocked when I saw that 20s would be an option on V6 models.

Let me go off-topic a little bit. We should get Alphard as well.

Thx for the review.

I sat inside the Venza at the LA Auto Show and thought it was pretty nice--this should be a success for Toyota.

Awesome review again MMarshall

Finally saw a commercial on it yesterday and it looks gooood

I'm not sure if it was mentioned but is this cross-shopped between the highlander?

I'd dumped my sienna in a heartbeat if it has a 3rd row

Damn toyota has too many cuv/suvs

Yes, I agree.....there are better ways of getting good ground clearance.

Can't compare a Vensa to that vehicle. It is much higher than a Venza and probably has more unstable handling.

Some Highlander shoppers might take a look at it, but, aside from the AWD, they are basically two different vehicles. The Highlander is higher, more SUV-like, and has a different ride/handling combo than the Venza.

It probably deserves to be a success....but it is somewhat overdue. Toyota should have done something like this several years ago. If they had, I might not be driving a Subaru today.

Mike I had to re-read this as I really like the pearl white Venza commercial showing nationally. It actually got my interest.
