I was offered a GTR today by a freind of mine for about $50K US. Quite a bit cheaper than the $90K US I am about to pay for my white IS-F that is soon to be delivered. Only 2,500km's on the clock. I have not seen it in person yet but he tells me that the owner is in the steel business and needs to cut back expenses. (he also is selling a nice CL 63 for $150K US with only 300km's on the clock. My friend has already decided to buy that. But he is keeping his Bentley apparently!)

If I was to buy it I would sell the Celsior (LS 430) and my wife will use it, I suppose I will have to let her make the decision b/c the celsior is her car.

Anyway, times are seem to be getting tuff her too.

Yes ,that is what an IS-F will work out to for the Japanese model. Like I have said many times before the new GTR, C63, M3 and IS-F are all similar prices here in Japan.

It won't my car that I am selling so it is up to her.
LOL. But I do have one problem, I would have to travel quite a distance to get it serviced as there are only certain dealerships that carry the equipment neccesary for the service.

Once the "F" gets here I will see what I can put together. Next time it won't be a rush job, but something worth posting. I have not used my 1Ds MKIII very much due to lack of free time.
Ha,Ha,Ha... I have always been looking at the GTR, but I just didn't believe it was worth what they are asking. Admittedly, I was not looking for the fastest car and I was not looking for a big car either which obviously the GTR is. And compared to the celsiors(LS 430) interior I am not sure if the wife will want to take the plunge.
It is very tempting at this price. We will see.

I don't know. I have yet to see the car, I just got a call from a friend of mine who owned one of the first released GTR's (This is the guy who let me drive his a bit in the past). I certainly will do my due dilligence.

It is not the cash, more so what the wife will say.
