Default Changing rear springs for an Acura TL Type S

Hey people,

Once again I know this is a LEXUS forum but seriously, a lot of other forums cant compare to this one . I had a thread few weeks ago regarding which springs to get for my girlfriend's Acura TL (2003). I bought lowering springs and I am in the process of changing her springs right now and was wondering if anyone had any idea of how to get to the rear shock towers, without removing the seats, but if there is no other option then I guess I will have to go that route. There is a lot of carpeting in the trunk with some really flimsy screwless screws (don't know the technical name of it) which is proving really difficult to remove, any help would be appreciated

Pretty sure you need to remove the rear seats. I'm sure there are a few DIY's over at Acurazine in the garage section. I think I know what 'screws' you're talking about, you pop the centers up with a knife or micro screwdriver then pull the rest of the plug out. good luck

You'll have to remove the rear seats. I don't recall it being that hard in my 02 CL, but that was over 4 years ago.
