A good show for the new 6. It's the car I would go for in this class.

Probably because somewhere in life people decided family sedans were supposed to be sports cars.... the Camry wasn't "sporty" enough I'd assume.

I don't get the hype about the Mazda 6, something about it just doesn't rub me the right way, looks like something very cheap using a stand out design to blind people from seeing how cheap it is because of all the pretty lights, lame.

The Acura TL SH-AWD and Mazda 6 were both tested in R&T and the Mazda performed BETTER than the Acura in everything but the slalom.

It looks great with the optional big wheels too.

Kudos to Mazda! They are my favorite non luxury brand.

I just gave my Accord review, great car. I will write my Camry and Altima review soon.

FYI, the ALtima review won't be too kind. Its awful.

Look forward to reading your reviews of these cars. I almost know what you're going to say about the Altima, for better or worse. But having driven both the Altima and Camry I have to say that I hope you don't favor the Camry more. I had both the Alty and the Camry as rentals for several days each and between the two I have to say that I hated, HATED the Camry. What a vacuum it was to drive, I couldn't wait to return the thing. I don't usually form such a strong negative reaction to a car but the Camry's impersonal, android nature makes it my most disliked car in the world. Sorry, I had to go there.

But this new 6 is sweet, I tells ya.

A bit slow 0-60 times for these v6s. Once again the Passat is left out. Accoed having top level refinement? Interesting, I'll show you my cheap Honda cost cutting weather stripping flaking away.

I can't really remember any reviews the Passat is included in. Its a great car that simply is overshadowed here.

Its quite amazing how much the 6 has grown (dimensions).

See if you can get a SE model for your Camry review. I had a 4-banger Camry SE as rental for a weekend a while back and I kind of like it.

In luck, a family member got a loaded Camry SE I helped them purchase so I got extensive time in it.

We have a Mazda3 and we love it. I've always liked the idea of the 6. I did not like the previous sporty look of the 6. It looked too much like a bigger 3, style-wise. I like what they've done with the new 6. OTOH, I hate the look of the new Accord.

I COULD NOT AGREE MORE.

I had a Camry rental car to SF for christmas and that thing SUCKED. Wind noise behind both front doors is loud. Seats are uncomfortable. I hate the headrests in that car. I know it's for safety reasons, but does it really have to push my goddamn chin into my chest? Driving dynamics sucked. The only good things about it is that it had a great stereo and sizable trunk.
