Lower prices and the fact that smaller cars excel very well in Canada. Cars like the Yaris, Camry 4banger, Prius, Corolla, ES, Rav, Highlander, Tacoma all do very very well here.
Vehicles like the LS, Avalon, Land Cruiser (which we don't sell), LX, Sequioa, Tundra are slower.
The V8 Sequoia/LX are subject to a Ontario Green Fee Tax of $3000 because of the **** poor fuel efficiency. The LX470 was subject to $4000.
