Oh my!

I've been looking at the photos trying to find some love for the design and the result is always the same. The front of the car is beautiful. Now we're approaching the side aspect. Still beautiful - until we reach the end of the C pillar and rear doors. That's where the design starts falling apart in my opinion. The rear is totally not to my liking. The typical Audi balance we see in other designs seems to be missing here.

Any interior shots on the net?

other than the sportback, this thing is damn sexy. audi went 3 steps ahead in interior design.

a much warmer looking interior. while lexus owners might not be used it, I like its uniqueness and trend-breaking/setting. like you're on a yacht. That white dash, however, will blind you in the sun.

this is the best looking engine cover i've seen. looks alien. 2 tone!!! FTW

At first glance I am hardly impressed, and while I'm sure that interior is first-rate in terms of quality, the design leaves a LOT to be desired IMO. The overall shape screams mid-90s GM to me for some reason.

I wanted to love this car, I wanted it to ignite the war with the MB CLS, but it hasn't. Looks like the premium four door coupe (excluding Aston Martin at $200K) the BMW Gran Coupe wins.

the shape of the rear half reminds me of something from the 1980's.

I would say this is equally as ugly as a panamera.... i.e the front is ok-good. and the rear half is a mess.

this angle is particularly nasty-

a5 sportback just looks better because it actually has an ***

Mixed feelings about this one so I will have to see it in person to decide if I like it. But I do commend Audi's efforts to give us more options. I like Audi as a company and can see myself in one sometime in the future.

I agree with DJ...A5 Sportback > A7.
