Excellent examples of cars where the styling has legs. I'd also nominate my recently sold '91 Lotus M100 Elan.

I am biased, but I vote for the 1993-97 GS300.

I always liked the Mx6.....not bad for a 1993 model, and I second the rx7, particularly gen 3 from 86-93, looks amazing for a 20 yr old car

I had bought it new and it only had 25k miles when I sold it a couple of months ago to a local guy that had a DeLoren. Just time to clean house, my '65 Lotus Super Seven II is next.

Good choices all, kind of new, but I will add the S2000, wait, hold that the S2K is still being produced, but I will leave the pic up. Out of those not mentioned, I would go with the BMW 8 series, and the Porsche 911 Carrera( 993- 1995-1998), the last air cooled 911.

I've always liked the styling on the 1st Gen Stealth Twin Turbo.

That's a beast. Looks like the grille was Honda's inspiration for the s2K grille.

Im biased, but I think my Legacy GT has aged well. The lower trims of this version not as much.

And def. the Prelude.

Lotus esprit, Lexus lx470, never looked sporty, but hell from 98-07, people bought it and looked basically the same, Mazda Miata, the Mercedes g- wagon, and the Lotus Esprit and old 911's

My vote:
1) Rolls Royce early 1980's today $20,000 to $29,000
2)Avanti
3)Subaru SVX
