Every time I see an S5 or A4, 5 series or X5, or LS 600hL on the road I am always drooling over the headlights. Each brand has shown that they will continue to use a specific headlight pattern to define their cars, so which do you think is coolest?

BMW held the crown for the longest time IMO with their angel eye design, but these days the competition has caught up... Audi's S5 currently has the best looking headlights by a solid margin IMO... I can't stop looking every time I see one out on traffic. The fact that the rest of the car is drop dead gorgeous of course helps the lights.

The LS600h's lights are cool in and of themselves, especially since they're LED but in the real world they just don't look all that special from a distance. I doubt most people would realize they were different from the LS460 unless you pointed them out. The fact that the rest of the car is conservatively styled just sorta makes the lights cool, but nowhere near the S5.

I gotta admit I haven't see the S5 lights at night. I do like the way my car's lights look at night. At least better than I do in the day.

The problem with the audi's headlights, they are everywhere here in Dubai, I'm talking about aftermarkets, you can see it on every Accord, Civics, altimas, corollas, camries ..etc. made me almost hate it

While BMW headlights (and front ends) are pretty ugly and a mix match of parts from old Fords, the angel eye headlights are still "cool". This is proven by the amount of people doing this mod to their car. I think it is a great way to distinguish BMWs!

Audi's LEDs are catching up fast, tons are doing it. I want to say though Porsche has it as well now. I just HATE the droopy christmas light pattern they chose. Disgusting. Much prefer the straight line on Porsches. The LED look GREAT in the daytime.

I love the Lexus LEDs but it needs to be on more cars (LS 600 only now, now new RX and HS).

BMW got my vote.

Wow really? The A5 and S5 haven't been out for very long here (a year, tops)... not nearly long enough for the aftermarket to adapt in mass. Have those lights been out there for longer or does your aftermarket just move faster than ours or what? I honestly don't think I've seen a copycat car yet.

If memory serves me right I think the Audi LED stripe is only for DRL so they don't lid up when the low-beam is on. Since that's the case the new Audi headlights look pretty normal and bland during night times.

BMW on the other end looks great with the angel eye, especially those with HIDs.

I like BMW's headlights the most. Especially the 5's and 3 coupe's.

So far the majority of the thread prefers BMW headlights and all the votes so far have come from non BMW owners. I'm a BMW owner and prefer Audi's design. LOL

Audi LEDs followed by BMW angel eyes. But yeah, whenever I see these headlights I can't help but stare like a moth attracted to light.

My vote goes to the Jaguar XJ's headlights. I like traditional, conservative designs.
