My 90 Taurus was in WAY better shape than that... I always took pretty good care of it, even when I wasn't of driving age I liked taking care of my parent's cars.
The 86 model's wheels and slight styling differences plus all that damage make me think of the Taurus from robo cop.

mine isn't quite that long but i got some bikes to throw in...
89 BMW 325 (e30) blk/blk. paid $3000, but spent over $3000 to maintain it...never again
99 GS400. loved that car. bought it with 85k in 04 for $16000, sold it with 135k in 08 for $8000 when gas hit $4/gal. only one problem ever: limp mode / safe mode
2000 Honda S2000 white on black/red. 23mpg driving like an assassin!
2006 RX400h...i had to come back to ClubLexus
and the bikes

92 Suzuki Katana 750 (sold)
87 Honda rebel still got it
00 Yamaha R1 (sold cuz it would kill me)

Car 1: 1992 Toyota Corolla with tiger print seat covers! lol Drove the car for about 2 years.
Car 2: 1994 Acura Integra. My first brand new car. Drove the car 8 years
Car 3: 2000 Lexus GS. Bought this used in 2002. Drove the car 6 years. Sold in 2008.

1992 Honda Accord LX -- bought at auction,, stolen before it was registered, or insured.
1991 Toyota Camry LE-- First car I made payments on, traded for 92 Camry LE.
1992 Toyota Camry LE-- Drove this car to 598K highway miles, traded for Expedition
1997 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer(2WD)-- Loved this truck,, gave back after back injury
and could not pay for it (was self employed at time)
1987 Maxima Wagon-- beater,,paid $200 for it. Literally drove it til the wheels fell off.
1988 Volvo 740 GLE--one of only 5000 manual shifts made,, tranny went bad,,
replacement was more than $4k,, only paid $500 for car. GOODWILL!!
1984 Nissan 300 ZX turbo (Anniversary)-- car was way out of timing,,city towed car as
abandoned after friend "borrowed" tags while I was out of town.
Cheaper to just let the city have it.

i really like this thread, it brings back a lot of memories. my car collection started at age 20.. around year 2002
1991 Acura Legend white 2DR coupe 180K for $1500
result: Drove off the free way the first night after falling asleep on wheel. car flip 3x , came out alive and car totalled.
1992 Toyota Camry LX 4cyc 240k for $500
result: refill a qrt of engine oil every 3 days, suspensions were shot to hell. This car was a seriously pimped out at the time. 16in Mazada rims, front leather bra, After market sony stereo that only works in winter time. mean poineer speakers i bought on sale in wal mart. keyless remote. best 3 years of my life with that car. sold it for 800 to the girl i was with in college.. car then die 3 months later.

result: Love this car, waxed, wash, clean it. Took care of it better than i did myself. BHG, drove it for another 8K and donate it to charity.
1995 oldsmobile achivia 120K for $140, manual
result: bought it thinking i'll learn manual, drove it for about two city street blocks. oil pan broke from oil change and was towed away due to landlord not wanting that POS around.

result: this car was in such a bad shape. The clear coat was gone. rust was growing like grass. side fender was bent due to accident. radiator cracked and lead to BHG. was a nice car to drive. very powerful (compare to the toyota/lexus). donate to charity.
1997 toyota Camry 4DR 4cyc $500, 170K
result: this was an after college car. this car had a serious sound system. 40 pound woofer. Awesome Acura TL rims. after 3 months the Timing Belt broke and just sold the car for 950bucks.
2004 Audi A6 2.7T $19000, 51K
result: current car. love it. it's so great not to be a backyard mechanic anymore.. might add some mods to this ride..

My first car was a 1994 Merc C280. Really was a POS, but my parents bought it for me, until it was totalled (not my fault).
then i bought my first lexus, the RX300, then the IS300, and then now the RX330, and just recently, Merc C350.
ive seem to have created some sort of circle. anywhoo, my history doesnt look like much of a history compared to others
