I think that was done long ago. Kia hasn't built junk for some time now.

Chrysler, IMO, for some time (among vehicles sold in America) has been the bottom of the barrel for general tinniness and the use of cheap, poor-quality parts, especially with the Nitro, Caliber, and Compass. The reliability of their vehicles, however, does not always reflect the general cheapness of the parts....Chrysler products vary from better-than-average to much-worse-than-average in reliability, depending on the model. And Land Rovers, despite their general solidness, still are at the bottom of the barrel (as a brand) when it comes to overall relibility.

Comparisons of the bottom feeder car companies are entertaining enough, but most people would do best by avoiding them.

They do usually finish last in reviews.

Chrysler and GM are financially sick like no other companies in the US. So that makes them unique with huge debt loads, huge portfolio of mediocre cars, entire divisions of non-competitive cars, redundant dealerships, bloated labor costs, huge legacy costs, poor performing and overpaid top management. Makes me wonder if Kia is this screwed up?
