You guys have to realize that not all concept vehicles are meant to be for production. They showcase technology and design themes that are to be used in other production models. So even if a concept is created and the name is dropped doesn't mean that the car in some form didn't make it to production.

This is a great site to look at concept cars from different companies throughout the years.
Great thread. I loved concept cars, especially the 1980's concepts. I remember going to a autoshow in St.Louis in when I was really young 87 or 88 and was blown away by the concept cars, funny but the absolute best and most striking concept cars were pretty much all American cars, particularly GM cars at that time, GM had the most stunning concepts in the 80's. I remember drooling over how low and sleek they were and looking inside and seeing the interiors were futuristic full of computer/digital readouts and tons of buttons and switches for all the different high tech features they had. When I got home the first thing I did was try to draw those cars or design my own cars like them, I would try to draw their high tech interiors also and it made me want to be a car designer for a long time.
The cars I saw at the autoshow that left the biggest impression were the
Oldsmobile Aerotech-set a bunch of speed records
Pantiac Banshee
Buick Wildcat-stunning looking sports car
Corvette Indy-mid engined with a twin turbo v8
Cadillac Voyage
Cadillac Solitaire-One of the most popular cars in the show, 200mph sedan
Chevy Blazer XT1- looked great for a futuristic SUV.
Here are others that I have seen in magazines or shows that I really liked
Nissan MID-4 very similar to the NSX
Nissan Cue-X
Jaguar R coupe
Jaguar CXF
Audi Avantissimo
Honda Sports 4-what the TSX should have been
Honda Argento
Honda FSX
VW W12
Mazdo MX03
Oldsmobile Alero Alfa
Peugeot Oxia-Stunning mid engined supercar
Suzuki Kizashi
Buick Lacrosse concept
Bertone Lotus Emotion
Bentley Hanaudieres
Bugatti eb183 chiron
Bugatti eb218 sedan
Toyota FXV I and II
Toyota GTV
Toyota FS-X
