It looks okay. It lost a lot of the aggressive character the current one has IMO. Thats what made it special to me.

I like it, but then again, I can't say I like it better than the current. It is all beautiful to me! Pure understated elegance.

I don't think it's a matter of shoehorning really.

It is a boxer, not a straight 6.

I've also read that this engine's limits are reached at about 4.0 so I wonder what will be in the works . . .

Flat 6s are very wide engines. While not a tall engine it still takes up quite a bit of width and depth inside the engine compartment. They fit into a space that's probably about the same size as a Corolla's trunk and still make the body look appealing.

I didn't think it was possible to expand it to 4.0 liters. That is amazing engineering!!!! They have always had 3.8 tops and rumors were they would need to move to a V-8 since the Flat 6 could not get bigger.

I am very interested on learning more of how they accomplished this!

AMAZINGLY the N/A 4.0 makes more power than the old Turbo!!!! Its only what 40 down from the twin turbo GT-R?

That means the next Turbo/GT2 will have an even bigger HP bump.

The GT-R might beat the 911 Turbo on the track but they're not the same class. That'd be like comparing an STI to an older M3, sure you might get similar numbers but they are not the same type of car.

Although I too like the Porsche 911 (GT3 and TT) better than the GT-R, you just sound like a bitter loser who can't come up with a real legit reason for you choice.
