still looks good for a 20 year old car (came out in 89) some w124's like the turbo diesels and 4matics can go to upwards of 5-10k

solid video . I have to admit I feel very safe in my Lexus. I really wish Mercedes would get their act together. Their cars are beautiful, powerful, and are still status symbols, but they are also a pain in the *** to own

where's the evidence to back up that their late models are a pain to own? last time i checked they were actually improving. where's video number 2 by the way. Not available? my god i nearly fell over.

They are fine now but they were 200X better, just go out for a test drive in any sec or sel and notice how every thing is beautiful than stare at the miles and ponder how can it be so old yet be so jaw dropping as well

I agree having owned a few Benz's. The new C-class is the first Mercedes in recent history to have the proper reliability engineering and testing and so far the payoff is showing up in reliability studies. Let's hope Mercedes stays on track with this and launches all new models only when ready for prime time.

Amazing. I like how it can withstand a 4000 lb crush to the roof like it's a simple roll over and this is a 20 year old car. In part 4 they throw a grenade in the car shot a cannon into it even after all that the door still opens, power are still there with the wiper still going on and on. At the end they put a couple stick of dynamite in the engine bay and blow it up and guess what happens....? the motor still works.

nah, pictures never do the cars justice. When that "new" s-class was coming out, it looked like **** in the pictures, but it looks just fine.

The GLK i hate because i just hate anything smaller than a RX.

The E-class has always been pretty damn good looking from the start i think. Generation after generation it's been pretty good.
