hyundai is coming on strong! nice, but correct me if im wrong because i have not been paying enough attention.... so the genesis sedan is the S, LS, 8, and 7 competitor and the genesis coupe is also the turbo rice rocket? kinda weird thought they would have some sort of different name i mean, i thought the little coupe was the 20something sporty rice rocket and the large sedan was the 35+ older business owner wealthier type car that had all the nice bells and whistles, and they are marketing both as the genesis?

 

It's truly amazing, the awesome company that Hyundai is turning out to be.

Correct, they should not have the same name for the lux sedan and lower priced coupe taking the place of the tiburon because they are two completely different vehicles aimed at completely different customers and markets and it makes no sense. I say the sedan should remain with the name Genesis and the coupe/sports car should just get a totally different name so as to not confuse shoppers. A true Genesis coupe would be a big lux coupe with similar styling inside and out to the Genesis sedan optioned and priced similarly and competing with a 6 series, Merc SL, Jag XK, etc not a smaller sports car/GT competing with the G37, 370Z, mustang, Eclipse, etc.

and i'll say it again, lexus should dump the voice they've used for 20 years, it's just so old hat and stuffy now.

hyundai's using jeff bridges, i think, right? he sounds perfect. classy but down to earth.
