Went with my friend to go wheeling with a huge group of Tacomas. We went to Hollister Hills in NorCal and spent the whole day doing trails and what not....

 

 

nice this is an awesome meet. the recent snow and this thread might convince me to get a landcruiser

 

Ooo, looks fun. How hard is that course? (& where abouts is it?)

I've never done any serious off roading, but I'm interested enough to consider trying it out if the course isn't too hard.

Haha ya it was a lot of fun. The place is about an hour south of San Jose, and it has a lot of pretty easy trails that most stock SUV's and trucks can handle, then for the more ballsy, they have mud pits, some steep hills, ditches, ravines, and dried river beds. The shot of the tube frame truck with the people around is stuck in a ravine after he broke something. I think he had to work like four hours to get it free.

I want to raise my IS and go off roading. Either that or get a range rover.

 

Screw the range rover....get a defender!

 

I would have loved to come along with a dirt bike...
