I'm from Eugene, home of the oil burning/spewing 1970s Volvos and VWs. Old sleepy Ted won't address these old dinosaurs, but wants to address new car tires...? WTF is wrong this guy. He's always got some idiotic new idea, very few ever make it into law however.

They can be powerful lobbyists against this sort of thing.
Seriously, Oregon has bigger issues than this, like all those busted-up old Saabs, Volvos, Subarus, etc. spewing pollution and leaking oil. And going 25 mph in a 45 mph zone...
