Yeah i'd definitely liike to see this too. I thought those Silverado with Escalade front end conversions looked pretty cool. The only difference is that those parts on the Silverado and Escalade all bolt on at the same points. The LX and the Tundra unfortunately no.

That photoshop just looks insane, in a good way. I can only imagine seeing something like this roling down the street. For a one off project, I think it would look very good. Unfortunately, I just don't think it will appeal to the masses. Kinda reminds me of when Lincoln decided to do their version of a pickup truck using the Navigator front end and a slightly altered Ford F-150 rear end. They called it the Lincoln Blackwood. I kinda liked the truck myself, but it just did not sell well. It was pretty much asthetic, could not haul anything in it with it's stainless steel lined bed and power operated toneau cover; and the look of it just did not cross over to a wide audience base. By the time they finally decided to kill it off, dealers were doing EVERYTHING they could to get rid of them. Lots of dealers were offering insane incentives, fitting them with CUSTOMER'S CHOICE aftermarket rims, etc.

Wow, that photoshop looks superb. Makes me wish Lexus did it!
So far, Lincoln is the only luxury marque to do a tradition pickup since the Cadillac Escalade EXT is a hybrid truck/suv.
I just don't ever see it happening. It would be like asking BMW or Benz to build a pickup.

Absolutely right, I almost forgot about that truck. Even though it is a poor selling truck for Mercury, it still was ALOT more user friendly than the Blackwood. Is a truck that you can actually haul stuff in, if needed, although not many that would pay the premium for an F-150 with Mercury styling influence will seriously haul anything.
