Man, what can you say. Of all the competition named for bimmers, they are inevitably talking about this or that sales brochure feature. If you rank them from behind the steering wheel, it is amazing how often bimmer scores differently.

Looks are important to an extent for me but without having driven it, let alone seen it, I certainly can't judge. My only reservations for now come from the auto reviews (mainly from europe) that talk about noise and harsh ride. A8 has harsh ride schizophrenia right now without anywhere near bimmer handling and the LS will never be in 7 territory for handling. The S was, and probably remains, the most serious competition. Should be interesting to do a little comparison shopping.
