Rhys Millen Racing prepped Genesis D1 car finally done and ready to drift
I have read about this car for a while. It seems like it may be a solid contender considering what RMR did with the solstice D1 car last year.
Millen will soon be piloting the 550-hp Red Bull Genesis Coupe in the Formula Drift Professional Drifting Championship, Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and Redline Time Attack Road Racing series.

I am not sure. First he ran the D1 GTO, then the Pontiac solstice. This year its going to be the Genesis. Maybe he will go back to GM next year. who knows if they even have the money for expenditures like D1

If I was a company that just borrowed money from the Untied States Government I would cut the D1 and get more serious in my business expenditures has well!

Millen is building a drift/race car based on the coupe with a 550-hp Lambda V6. While roadgoing Genesis Coupes get a normally aspirated 3.8L V6 as the top engine, Millen's machine is punched out to 4.1 liters and boosted with a Turbonetics turbocharger.

can't wait either...but he seriously need to stop changing cars, he hasn't been competitive in a while, but I have my hopes for him. He's a genuinely nice all-around guy

He was actually very competitive in the solstice. The GTO was different story. As far as jumping around from car to car look at Sam Hubinette. Charger....viper...challeger. Guys like Vaughn Gittin in the mustang or Chris Forsberg in his monster V8 Z are always piloting the same rides and seem very aggresive in them

I mostly see his stunt drive work...haven't seen much of his drifting. Don't watch Formula D, only see him one or two times a year when D1 goes to the U, S and A
