Illinois to offer a Barack Obama License plate
Thought this was pretty cool.
The cult of personality (and associated merchandising onslaught) surrounding the 44th President of the United States now extends to Illinois residents' automobiles. For a mere $50, Illinois motorists can acquire special-edition temporary license plates that further shows their ardor for President Barack Obama (beyond the usual assortment of Hope/Change/Etc. bumper stickers). Proceeds from the sale of the license plates will go to the illinois libraries

If I lived in Ill. I'd get one. They should offer it everywhere. Lots of people would.

why don't we wait and see how he does on the job (crappy so far IMO) instead of "pre-glorifying" him? I.E. Nixon plates too??

It is getting tiresome to be honest, some people are trying to make Obama look like a savior... What's the difference between that than seeing bunch of Chairman Mao statues all over China?
Let the man do his job and let's "glorify" him in four years with our votes.
