haha but you can associate copying in any industry, its bound to happen! Hyundai has come a long way, so you have to give them that, their riding on the fact that their stuff can be "just as good" (yeah right) and be much less expensive as their "counterparts" Hyundai has been bagging on the LS for sometime now, through their commercials anyways.

Technically the things on the Phaeton/A8 are actually fed, so apples to oranges compared to the fake tips look? If that's the case, I suppose the threat title stands.

The Equus is not a derivative of the Buick Lacrosse. This car has been around in Korean Culture since 1999.

and a very ugly one at that.

interior is super cheap.

doesn't justify forking over such a large sum of money for.

makes the $200,000 Lexus LS 430, A8, S500 actually worth buying . . .

I've ridden in one while I was in Korea.

My gf's dad owns 2.

He asked me if I could buy a LS 460 or the A8 and bring it to Korea with me next time I come and he'll give me the money lol

You misunderstand, I meant in terms of styling of this new "redesigned" model.

It's funny to see everyone in here acting like little kids and playing the "accusation game".

Get real, guys.

LOL,, i knew what you meant. Do agree that they do look very similar. I saw one at an auto show in 2000 and was very impressed with it's looks. Other than that, don't know much about them.

How so (other than the spearline, which btw, a no. of Chrysler vehicles also have used)?

Does that mean that the Equus looks like the GS as well since many members think the LaCrosse looks like the GS?

I guess the Mitsubishi Proudiant must be ugly/cheap as well since it is basically the same vehicle.

I don't think I've ever sat in a Mitsubishi that exudes quality. The gallant and lancer feel like cheap tin cans.
