These cars really haven't changed much stylistically since 2004, always looks sexy. My favorite model is still the Vantage.

why automakers still insist to produce convertibles in ragtop form is beyond me...

I see your point, certainly not the practical solution, but in this class of car practicality is not so important. But in the exclusive premium/toy car business the reasons are:

. Body styling-A soft top allows a sleeker/lower profile than a folding hardtop, especially for 4 seaters.

. A folding hardtop (expecially a big 4 seater top) has a lot of ugly cut-lines in the metal to allow folding.

. A well-finished cloth top looks cool when up.

^ don't for get the weight aspects

Astons seem to suffer from the same thing as Audi, it's the same car over and over (it's not that it's a bad car, it's just not a new design).

I also prefer the coupe more, but the volante will be the car to have in Beverly Hills and Monte Carlo.

As far as 2-door coupe or conv. The DBS is the winner hands down PERIOD. That 3/4 rear photo is just totally HOT! HOT!! HOT!!! Dang that car is sexy!

That's exactly how I feel about the regular ole AM Vantage, which is quite common here. Love it.

yeah vantage are nice, i see it pretty often too, but it really can't compare to the DBS. the dbs has so much more presence and "sound"
