in terms of the soft top..... its either going to be the extra 400 lbs or the extra noise and lack of noise cancellation

Why would you buy this over the RS4 convertible? Without the beautiful coupe lines of the S5, it looks pretty darn close.

420 hp V8 vs. the 333 hp SC'd V6 in the S5 at just about the same price (today's prices for the RS4 vert vs. list for next year's S5 vert).
