Default Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss

Introduced at the Detroit Auto Show this year, the Stirling Moss will be the very last iteration of the McLaren SLR line. Its striking lines seem to illicit a love-it-or-hate-it reaction, but no one can argue that Mercedes-Benz didn't come up with something unique as a send off to its flagship model. Not that you can buy one anyway – only 75 are planned for production and will only be offered to the most loyal of SLR customers. So what does 750,000 euros get you? In addition to the unique body and interior, each car comes with M-B's bread-and-butter supercharged V8 pumping out 650 horsepower plus the ability to go 200+ mph without so much as a windshield protecting you from bugs at triple digit speeds. Sounds like a pretty good deal to us. .....

I'm going to quit taking these people seriously that are writing this stuff if they don't understand slipstream design and why there are two small glass risers in front of the occupants. For one, Your head will be at the exact height of the glass riser because the car sits you down on the floor. For another, the car is designed to kick the wind up which carries foreign objects as well over the top of the car.

Not to mention the full face helmet that you are supposed to wear.

I love the original car that sterling moss drove . This thing, although a tribute to one of the greatest racers in history, its kind of lame with no windshield. Imagine being on the track and a piece of debris from another car flys up and decapitates or injures the driver of the 722 SLR

by the way the famous european magazine EVO named the original car that sterling moss drove in 1955 is the most valuable car in the world. They stated its last sale was 30 million euros

Hmm love it or hate it styling. HATE IT!! I can appreciate the tribute theme that he was going for and the car is definately original, but this car just fails on many level in styling.
