Congrats man! The Z06 is an absolute beast. I guess you were all over the spectrum, but finally decided that performance > all, eh? he he

I actually had a similar dilemma when I was shopping for the F. I was tempted by a red Z06 that was sitting at Carmax... it only had a few thousand miles on it and was selling way below KBB, which puts it right at the price point of the F. However, I took a quick peek inside the car, and I was disgusted at the build quality and interior, so I didn't even bother with a test drive. Its resale value was also questionable. So yea, those were the deal breakers for me, but I guess you can't have it all!

Oh snap. I guess the drama is not over. LOL!

Do you plan to drive the Z06 at 8/10ths or more? And how often do you plan to take it to the track? Besides the acceleration times and track prowess, the E93 is the superior car hands down, in pretty much all aspects I can think of (Besides reliability). Do you like the looks of the Z06 better?

I love both looks and will never track the Z06... + I spoke with an old friend today who restores and builds out BMWs... he's found a good BMW mechanic in my neck of the woods... soooooooooooooo.....

Ahhh, with me, who the $&@# knows at this point, right!! LOL!! But tomorrow, FINALLY, MAYBE, my project is supposed to fund (paying cash for whatever I buy), so no more killing time... I will be making THE DECISION...

... well...

maybe...

I'm surprised you don't know - they're such different cars.

High revving/low torque v8 in a heavy hardtop convertible = fun cruiser

Big engine in a light car = torque monster

I'd also imagine that someone who is considering a Z06 (over a regular Corvette or convertible Corvette) would also pick a hardtop M3 over the heavy, softer convertible. Great deals can be found for those also.
