Not the most aggressive design considering the beast within. Still beautiful and exactly the class of car that Lexus has nothing that comes close to competing with.

The mpg REALLY got my attention... that much HP, 4 doors, e-class luxury AND under $100K... hmmm... tease...

I think it looks great, all things considered. I feel MB is going for understated performance and overstated luxury. It works, yet I still think it will look menacing in all black.

Neg: Shifter a Exhasut

Pos: Everything esle, esp interior and MPG.

Really hoping that Lexus eventually produces a GS-F to compete w/ the E63 and M5.

Me too. I'm not sure I would buy a GS-F over a M5 if i had the money, but it would be nice to have other options. More competition should benefit the consumer.

Must be nice to have that kind of power output and still get 22.4 MPG. For some reason, those wheels look really small on that car.

The current E class is the best E ever (particularly the rear end)

Looks like the AMG is getting the straight line LEDs while regular E's getting the angled LEDs (or was that a concept)?
Sure thing.

you can get LED's fog lights on the LS600h in Japan and the GT-R.

Here are some more pics taken from the AMG Private Lounge forum.

The exterior design is starting to grow on me...but I'm still not a big fan of the rear of the car (especially the exhaust tips). Also hoping the new E63 inherits the same angry sounding exhaust note like the C63 and SL63...my current E63 sounds tame in comparison.

considering how surprised (in a good way) when I saw one in non-AMG trim and with some sparse camo up front...

I think this is going to be quite the looker in flesh.

There's something that doesn't translate about the new E-Class through pictures.
