Perhaps, but remember it is a Scion. It's supposed to be aggressively distinct as Scions don't play it safe. So I fully expect the the US Scion version to be more like this one than the standard European one.

I personally think it looks great. Again, it intentionally looks aggressive and "hip" for the young Scion crowd. Slightly overdone? Maybe. But plenty of people love this sort of thing.
