the "daily beater" appreciation thread
Since most of us dont use our Lexus' as our daily driver, i figured maybe we could show some lovin for our daily work horses...
I'll start with mines... a 99 civic hatch (EK) that i bought from a retired navy officer who bought it brand new in 1999. Completely bone stock with all of the service records from day one. I've owned her for about a year now and put on about 30k (yea i drive A LOT)
As my "daily" i wanted to keep her mostly stock... I had it painted satin black (originally black), added an aem intake, magnaflow exhaust, moderately lowered, and put on some HX wheels (11lbs.)
Her name is Penny.... matches the copper colored wheels.
215K and still kickin...........
and here's my GS... who has been sitting in the garage for 3 months now.
Now lets see your "beater"....

My beater is an automatic 2000 Integra GS Sedan. Previous owner painted stock wheels black and added AEM intake. I added tints and remote start. I drive at least 72 miles a day roundtrip. It's good on gas. I get close to 30mpg. I was debating getting some 17's and lowering it but I'm not sure if I want to keep it. I want a bigger car like an accord or something. I like TSX's also but we'll see what happens.
