The integrated tail pipe design, by the way, wasn't originally on a lexus, it was from the 2003 A8.

You can argue a lot of things about Mercedes Benz (reliability), but generally speaking, I wouldn't include the idea that they copy other manufactures into that mix. They are constantly innovating and bringing firsts to the market.

Don't forget 7 series interior also
REgarding the grill, I like the 1 chrome horizontal strip rather than the double one.

Not too shabby... lol jk. Very nice. Sort of an evolved look from the current S-Class

I' sure there will be some MB fans who can answer this but I believe that MB really watched costs and the new E does not have much of a price increase over the outgoing model. If that is the case and they pull the same trick with the new S, that will make it awfully tempting.
Funny thing on design to me. In pictures of the current model, you really notice the rounded arch/flares in the front. But in the steel, they are no where near as pronounced to me. Looks like they have toned them back so they won't be noticable at all. Not a bad look. I know it is a big price step up from the E but I think the new S looks like it is worth it. Not saying the new E is bad, just doesn't make much of a statement. Could be me.
