haha actually this guy is selling these almost-new LM for a pretty reasonable price!

let's just say i stare at the thread/pics for a while but seriously i don't think i am going to get wheels. doesn't make sense on a car that for sure i am returning after 3 yrs

but damn did i say these wheels are sick?

My favorite E92 so far!

Cant really top this guy. It's perfection at its best.

And don't forget to read the comments below.

My 335i stickered at 47k... base was something like 40k and 7 grand worth of options. For 2007 I think the M3 started at 52 or 54k and since it came with a few things standard that the 335i did not, I figured if you set the options roughly similarly it was only 8 grand more for the M3 sedan. I'd have done that in a heartbeat if I was buying instead of leasing. The lease rates for the M3 were MUCH worse though... to the point where you were paying almost all of that 8 grand extra in depreciation for a 3 year lease... so according to BMW a 335i and M3 would be worth about the same after 3 years. Of course that's not true, but the fact is they were subsidizing 335i lease rates but not M3s.

I have to say the M3 sedan looks quite a bit better than my 335i and the coupe version looks even better (even though I'd never consider a coupe).

depends on the time and inventory i guess. last year from oct to dec, the lease deals on m3 were far better than that of 335i. of course that's coz' they wanted to get rid of the m3 inventory. residual was ridiculously high, money factor very low, plus low cap cost, perfect scenario for lease

Seize is masturbating to this picture right now.

Seriously though, why do LM's look so darn good? They are timeless.

I have a very strange love for the E92, I frequent m3post.com daily, and I when I see one on the NYC streets. Its definitely on top of my next car list, especially since I see some selling in the mid $40K.

Don't get me wrong, I love my G35x, but something about that popped up hood, and that beastly V8 engine makes me go ape ****.

I prefer my wheels more on my ride. I agree the sedan's looks aren't as good. The IS just doesn't work as a coupe either. That is what I loved about the 335i. It looks great as a coupe. BTW, there were no 2007 M3 cars. They stopped in 2006 and started back up in 08 with the new body style. The new M3 sounds great and handles great but a 335i has more torque or it can have more torque

Advans are nice, but I like them on Japanese cars more. However, the price is hard to justify for a cast wheel.

Silverbull, you need to lower that sucker.

hehe i am also a no lower, no wheels person even on my m3, i refused to put on spacers till i lowered the car

the advans pricing aren't too bad. a set of 19s for the m3 are right around 2600-2700. that's a pretty good price i think?

I think a 1-piece cast wheel should be about $1k less. You're paying a premium for their designs. Sometimes it's worth it; I still love the original Advan Model 5.
