I'll take the Chrysler's interior (compare it to the VW pic above). This looks a lot better...

I'm not talking about "looks". Go see for yourself in real life, all the pictures in the world aren't going let you in on the materials quality.

It is surprising that the Routan is above all those though.
I think CC basically grabbed a piece of cake from its passat.

but routan is better than caravan, in terms of material. I don't know why it didn't sell... maybe too expensive? overpriced?

gosh how long has it been since that concept came out? Yet, that thing still looks new! One day I want to do a Type2 project and a Karman-Ghia restoration .

Still trying to figure out why anyone would buy the Routan

You can even get a used Odyssey or Sienna.

If VW lets me spank Brooke Shields with a giant paddle, I'll buy one.

Or is that wrong?

This isn't a "Volkswagon", it's a Daimler-Chrysler concoction

2001! So VW had over 9 years (including the concept phase) to develop the Microbus and they couldn't do it. If they found a way to build it affordable, this would have been a big hit.

Problem is, is that anyone with a brain knows this is a Chrysler even though VW tried hard to avoid that in their ads with the usual overdone "german engineering" crap.

Check out the original video of the concept...

Not enough plastic in the Routan for my tastes.
