i'd love to know how fast an F-1 car could do the ring.
i wonder what the limiting factors are on these 'regular' cars like 911, GT-R, ZR1, etc. is it just power to weight ratio, cornering traction, aerodynamics?
i would imagine the AWD on the GT-R gives it an edge over a GT3?

Because they are fake. The fake styling of the front engine SUV and the front engine sedan pretends to look like a rear/mid-engined Porsche. The 911 and Boxster styling is honest and is dictated by the layout of the machinery.

What is the difference between a "GT" car and a track car?
Unless you mean Grand Tourer which CGT is not, CGT is derived from the Porsche's GT1 track car (I think) from events such as the Le Mans series. The Lambo Murc also belongs in this GT class and I don't see what about it makes it "unpure"
