Default Mercedes Benz M class with exposed screws on exterior

Well I was at the mall today and Mercedes was promoting the new M Class inside. I can't believe the M Class has exposed screw heads on the exterior around the fog lights. There is two screws on each light

This is completely unacceptable for a vehicle of that calibre and price.

Look closely at the foglamps and notice the screws.

Unacceptable.

They are stylized and painted black? The exterior of the ML is very well done, immaculate in attention to small detail. The way the door handles operate, the solidess of the body.

Yeah no biggie to me. I am quite fond of the ML exterior.

I remember driving (yuck) a last generation Caddy Escalade and the first thing I saw when I opened the door were tons of exposed screws on the drivers seat. Its beyond me how people spent 50k plus on such a poor interior.

Nothing though is as bad as the Infiniti QX56. They put NO EFFORT into that vehicle. Not sure if it has exposed screws but I think you have a few screws loose to buy that vehicle for its asking price. A complete and total POS.

I dont see the big deal. I dig the ML's exterior (as well as Interior) look.

Are you that bored with your life?

But forgive me if you own the ML and was very upset about it.

Is it normal to have exposed door handles on a modern car? At least they are color-coordinated.

I think the 1IS guys have exposed screws also.

All you need is a phillip screwdriver and 2 minutes of your time to completely remove both fogs. Makes it VERY easy to steal.

The C classes are the same way. I think its for aiming the beam.

What a silly thread.
