$627 for a ticket!!! They can wipe their asses with more than that. They are racing in cars that cost at least a quarter of a million dollars. $627 .... what a joke.
The cop thinks he is big time because he "reeled" them in. They were on an exotic car cruise and pulled over because a few guys in the line got pulled over.

"Do you know how much a car like this costs?"
"How old are you?"
"Who owns the business this car is registered to?"
It gets insane at times.

I agree . BOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!
Its a big joke. They will probably have their lawyers goto court for them and get everything handled. They look at this as juice for a good story when having drinks with buddies
They could charge them 8 grand per 6 months and it would be nothing. You have to understand that the kind of people who drive these cars don't worry about stuff like insurance premiums. People like this sometimes have the attitude that if you have to as the price then you cant afford it. I am sure they will be fine

My issue with the cop in this situation isn't that he pulled them over...it's how proud of it he is.
Dude, they're doing 100 in a 55...clearly, they have somewhere to be. Not only does he pull them over...which is fine; they were speeding. But, to get out your camera and take pictures of the whole event...delaying them even further? That's a bunch of crap. He was keeping there on the side of the road simply because HE COULD...which is B.S.

To give some perspective from a local, this stretch of highway (along with several others nearby that run out to the coast) is particularly notorious for head-on, deadly collisions. What these guys did was flat-out insane and could very easily have resulted in multiple fatalities. If they'd been on I-5 running at 100MPH I might be more sympathetic, but on 18 or 22, they're *($&! nuts.

$627 won't buy their licenses back if they keep up that kind of nonsense and lose them. Points are points.....get enough of them and your license is gone. Then let's see them laugh.

1st thing i thought when I saw this LOL.
Ex-judges who are now lawyers and regular lawyers can speak with the judge to 'appeal' it. My brother knows an ex-judge who is cool with every judge in the county[and neighboring] will charge someone money and can get their ticket and point taken away.
