next-gen Hyundai Sonata (revealed)

the interior looks extremely nice but I just can't trust Hyunday. I still have nightmares from the Hyundais I sat in a couple of years ago in an auto show. They STANK, literally. And the gear lever gear pattern was a gray sticker which was the same on all their cars.

If the pictures aren't deceiving me it looks like they're making a car with an interior on par with the Infiniti G37, great exterior looks, undoubtedly great road manners, etc... but probably planning on selling it at an Altima type price.
This is just crazy... picture this car next to the refreshed Genesis and the new Equus.
The only thing missing from a non stop hit lineup of mid to higher tier value priced cars is a new Azera... but maybe there's a nice new one coming out soon and I just forgot about it or haven't heard of it yet.

That grille is a little over the top for me, but other than that, this car looks like a HUGE hit.
That cockpit is really nice and the center stack, although it resembles a CTS, looks very nice as well.
Hyundai definitely took the Sonata and made it hit the gym.

Roofline is very close to Audi A6 and looks good. Gauge pods look cross-eyed. Speaking of gauges, when will this tunneled and burying trend stop? Nearly every maker has done this for years and it's old. Why can't passengers be able to see what the rpm's and speed are? Can only a driver be involved? Thank you Lexus for not inflicting this restrictive feature in the IS! *end rant*

That looks so good its ridiculous!! I actually think it looks more aggressive than the Genesis. I hope the engine choices reflect the performance inspired looks..
I hate to say this but the Camry and Accord look "weak" against that rendering of the Sonata. Hyundai is taking design cues but IMO they are taking all the RIGHT ones from other manufacturers and it works.
Other cars in this class look boring to me..
