On Edmunds, it states 37 mpg highway for the SPORT 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 6A). I'm seeing 34 on Ford.com.
Either way, it IS the most fuel efficient midsize sedan. Camry and Accord don't come close. Amazing achievement for Ford.

34 mpg is for the 4 cyl, NOT the V6.
The 3.5L V6 gets 27 mpg highway, NOT 37 mpg. Once again, this is a typo and Edmunds has listed incorrect information.
For the last time, no the V6 Fusion is NOT the most fuel efficient in it's class. The class is V6-powered midsize sedans, and both the Camry V6 and Accord V6 achieve better fuel economy.

to Ford for catching up. Even thought Toyota had a huge head start, but I support any sign of improvement from the Big 3, or 1 out of 3. :-D
You can't compare a Fusion to a Prius, different vehicle size & class. If you r going to compare, do it with the Camry, or other hybrid in same class. Leave the Prius out.
Personally, I can't do hypermiling. Don't have the time to go that slow for the saving. The real saving I can do just cut back on traveling or loose weight on myself, 20lbs in 3 months wooohoo. The highest i got on the IS250 is 41 mpg on the free way going 60mph.
