Default e92 M3 featuring D2FORGED VS5 Wheels

Hey all, just wanted to share a few quick pics that we took, of a recent install. We promise to get our photographer out for some really nice shoots, soon. We have been too busy getting wheels crafted, assembled, inspected and shipped to breathe!!

Anyways, this guy was all set to go with the VS1's but when he came into the office and saw the VS5 on the Porsche 997, it was curtains. I think he made the right choice. The whole e92 M3 with mesh wheels thing is sort of saturated, the 10spoke was a refreshing change of pace for us.

WHEELS:

D2FORGED VS5
20x9.5" - 3.0" lip
20x11" - 4.0" lip
BBC FINISH - BRUSHED ALUMINUM SPOKE FACE, HI-POLISHED SPOKE WINDOWS, FULL CLEARCOAT, CHROME OUTER LIP
ENGRAVED ALUMINUM CENTERCAPS - Brushed Aluminum Finish

Other Mods:
H&R LOWERING KIT

Please feel free to contact us for more info on these wheels, or for the D2FORGED Wheels Authorized Dealer nearest you!

i like the rims, BUT, i know i'm in the minority, but too much lip for me makes the rims look inset and smaller than they are.

but overall this car does look very nice with this rim setup.

Very nice!

I like the face of this rim. It reminds me of MTM rims. Do you guys have any plans on making one piece, concave face rims, a la Neez?

very nice wheels!

though on cars like m3, i actually prefer wheels with no lips to give that sportier / beefier look

that's the problem with most spring drops on the m3. they are not enough and most of all, the rear always seem to be higher after the drop, giving it the rake look. partially due to the fact that the rear wheel diameters are larger than front

Yeah, the owner didn't want to slam it too much since he drives the car A LOT and is in Metro NY.

There is a lower set of springs available, from RD-SPORT which we wanted to get him, but he chose the H&R's

Thanks for the kind words.

The car looks really nice man. I think a mesh design wheel would look cool as well

rds has the lowest drop on all springs, but their price is so much higher which kind of make it not as attractive

and man, every time i look at the AC and Dinan drop, they are like nothing!

nope, sorry not for me....

a lip like that does not belong on a sports car IMO.
