5 years? G35/37 no doubt. But if you truly want more space, you're going to have to go up a size class.

to answer your questions
1) IS250 or G35 sedan won't get any attention unless you mod them
and IMO IS250 looks better than G35 sedan, unless you pick the new Gen. G35 Sedan

2)daily drive and liability,,Lexus >>>>>>>>>Infiniti,,and it comes from my personal experience

3)Lexus will make you happy in the long run,,again,,liability plays a huge role in the long run..

so my advice is just keep your IS250,,or if anything just upgrade to ES or GS

Why not a GS or ES if you want more room?

1) C350 is a sensational looking car, it turns my head for instance. I think it looks great and has great proportions. . G35 makes me turn my head the other way, its not very good looking. Pulling up to a party Benz> Infiniti like by a factor of 100.

2) The G35 is much larger than the IS and C-class. Its nearly the size of the GS. Its a big car for the money. I find it comfy on the inside with tons of space and good ergonomics. The C350 leaves me wanting from an interior standpoint and its cozy like the IS but with a better backseat.

3) I can't tell you that. The G35 is simply the best value in class, especially used. Great power, features, size and handles well. The C350 I think is more the more "emotional" car of owning a Benz, it looks better, etc. The G35 will be more reliable but teh new Benz's have improved with quality.

Overall its hard to beat the G35 when it comes to "value". It offers a lot for the money. The C350 is not the value proposition but I could stare at it for hours.

The G37 is the only "entry level rwd premius sports sedan" with a usable back seat. Much better than IS and C, and even 3 series.

But then you can also look into Acura TL and Lexus ES which are in the same price category but are a lot larger.

^^ I find nothing attractive about the new C class really, from this angle or the back, both look kinda weird, especially the rear. The only attractive angle is from the front, it's very nice, but just the front end looking good does not make it a good looking car overall, I would say exactly the same thing for the S-class too (at least the current version, I like the 2010 facelift a lot better...)

Oh, I 'd say G35 too for the OP .

I prefer the look of the C-class over the G. The C-class (sport version) is somewhat unconventional but very attractive, for those interested in rolling up at clubs in style, etc., it's the better choice.

Of course the G has a bigger back seat, it's a bigger car (longer wheelbase and length). The C-class backseat is significantly roomer than the IS, I've checked both carefully.

C350, the g35's interior looks like a maxima. in the end its still a nissan. Mercedes is Mercedes no one can deny that. Sure it had some quality issues back in the late 90's early 00's but now they are up theyre with the best of them. Any person that calls a modern mercedes unreliable is just un educated and repeats what others say.

The C class has more attractive exterior styling especially with the AMG wheels; the G35 is better than the C in every other area (interior, performance, handling, reliability, dealer service, roominess ..).

Correct, mainly the result of a longer wheelbase, taller roofline and thinner front seat backs.

They are both fabulous cars. With that said, get the 335i.
