Wow. These cars are heavy. The IS250C with the automatic weighs in at 3814, the 250C manual is 3840, and the 350C is 3880 pounds. My actual 3742 lbs for my IS-F sounds downright feathery compared to the convertibles.

Yeah the added weight from the top, which is a 3 piece top, the added chassis reinforcements and such bring the weight up. Surprisingly, the ISc feels like a regular IS sedan. I got to drive a variety of configs including a IS250c 6MT Manual, IS350c Auto and IS350c w/full F Sport. The car looks a lot better rolling down the street, rather that stationary in photos and on a static display.

Here's a pic of the ISc w/F-Sport wheels and brakes only, next to my IS F.

Have any of yall noticed that Lexus has like literally chosen certain colors for these IS in their commericals, its like they think the Blue is best in the F line, Red is best in the C line and Siver is best in the Standard IS line. but in the last commerical, it looked good in red in movement

Default Lexus IS-C commercial

What is withthe stupid new Lexus IS convertible commercial? What are they trying to tell us? There is one commerical with a guy running to his car with no shoes on and jumping into the car with people chasing him. At the end it says "Live a little, alot" huh? The others are pretty pointless too.

Sadly I agree

I do like that last one with the whole line up, esp. the IS-F burn-out

Yup! I can relate But yeaah I love the agressive marketing by Lexus. In fact as I'm typing this and watching SportsCenter. They just ran the ad with the guy picking up the shoeless brunette on the bridge, twice

I dont remember the whole thing but there was a commercial with a dude and a chick driving through the mountains being chased by helicopters but my g/f god a laugh out of it. I think she said, "ha, too bad it's not really a sports car like they make it out to be. This would be better if it were a Bimmer or Porsche." haha
