If the government says "you must own a 4 cylinder" what would you buy?

The question is what would you buy? Not what toy you would like while disregarding any real need or requirement in your life. Why don't most of you own sports cars now?

My whole problem with Evo's and Sti's...
Well...even with 4 cylinders, you can get better city fuel economy out of a V8 Corvette. According to the scantool on my co-workers 2005 Sti, he averages 12 mpg City with about 50/50 split of in boost/not in boost.
SOoooo....how is that good again? The point of the government restricting everyone to 4 cylinders would be to raise fuel economy. S2000's get crap for gas mileage too. And what about the RX-7's and 8's? They dont even have cylinders!
They wont be able to do this anyway. Do you guys know how many V6/I6/V8 and even V10 cars/trucks are on the road today? ALOT. the government would have to give some kind of incentive and/or purchase everyones Dodge Rams and Silverado pickups and VIPERS AND VETTES for what they owe on them, or for fair market value. Then they would have to pay to crush/recycle them.
It wont ever happen...but if it does, It would not affect me in the slightest.

Though You bring up the government hummm where do I start with that large group of idiots. First of all its not the number of cyclinders that is the problem. Its are government not letting private industery do what we do best. I will tell you right now that a E-85 1987 Mustang that makes 400hp is going to blow your mind.

I'm looking forward to shoving that right down the government's throat, And you take my word this will change everything.
